Ball Machine Policy:

 

1) Ball machine is for use of ATC members only at the ATC Gemmill Park tennis courts.

 

The machine is stored at:

Almonte, Ontario

K0A 1A0

 

2) Ball machine cannot be used during regular club bookings or scheduled events. Please refer to the Online Calendar for an up to date list of bookings.

 

3) Ball machine can be booked in 3 hour blocks. The cost/rental is $5. Payment is made at the pickup location.

 

4) Members are responsible for pickup and return of the machine and accessories. This includes:

 

Ball machine

Balls

Extension cord

Ball bucket

Ball bag

 

We ask users make every effort to collect all the balls on the court and when possible, balls that are hit over the fence.

 

5) Bookings should be made in the online booking system. Anyone not comfortable using the system can call Marni Friesen to reserve the machine 613-256-9105

 

6) Bookings can be made up to 3 days in advance, one booking per member. If no bookings exist the machine is available on a first come first serve basis.

 

7) While the machine is relatively simple to operate, members are advised to attend a machine training session before booking the machine. See the club calendar for upcoming training sessions.

 

8) Usage of the ball machine is at user’s own risk. The club will not be held responsible for any injury caused by usage of the ball machine.
